the Dev box is hosted (on Linux - RedHat, as you say)
but the final AmigaOS wont be tied to any particular underlying OS or
Hardware (CPU type , for example).
it works better being hosted on Linux than on windows...and development
tools are more plentiful (and cheaper!) on Linux.
If Elate runs in a native mode (with no underlying OS) then it'll go even
faster... so , if you want your Windoze stuff, then you can have it, but
Amiga performance will suffer...and the same for Linux, BeOS etc 8-)
